The Spanish as a Second Language Program offered by Centro Venezolano Americano in Caracas, Venezuela is specifically designed to suit the needs of non-Spanish speaking individuals looking for a comprehensive short-term academic program to communicate effectively in Spanish.
The program consists of 20 modules, from Introductory to Advanced levels. Each module is 16 academic hours long and classes meet 3 times a week. Participants, grouped according to their proficiency in the Spanish language, interact in Spanish from day 1!
Course openings are available all year round. Please check the Course Calendar for information on starting dates.
Registration
To register, proceed to our Registration Desk (located at he Lobby of CVA Las Mercedes, Caracas) and bring your personal identification document. Registration clerks are available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday. If you have some knowledge of Spanish, please ask for a free placement test.
Non-Venezuelan citizens will be required to show an original identification document such as their passport upon registration.
Tuition
Tuition corresponds to one module and is paid upon registration. Class materials are purchased separately every 5 consecutive modules.
Payment
All payments will be made, exclusively, to CVA operators located behind the glass Registration Desk in the Lobby. Please be aware that no other department or person is entitled to receive payments of any kind. Payment methods include credit and debit cards, as well as personal checks.
